Our Impact

Fulfilling our responsibility to contribute to the well-being of our global and local communities goes beyond the conventional metrics of business success. While it's essential to hyper-focus on margins, profits, and costs, we recognize that a broader lens is needed—one that sees beyond data to the undeniable realities faced by children across the world living in extreme poverty and deprivation.

In a dedicated effort to break the cycle of poverty, we've forged a meaningful partnership with the Join Foundation, headquartered in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and led by the visionary Luis Yon. The Join Foundation's mission aligns with our commitment to providing Guatemalan youth with an alternative trajectory, steering them away from the perils of poverty. Through this collaboration, children displaying academic potential are granted access to quality education in private schools and nurtured to become future community leaders.

In 2019, I flew to Guatemala with the sole purpose of experiencing towns like El Tejar, a small town 19 miles outside of Guatemala City. Meeting the humble families of sponsored students living in makeshift communities was life changing. The smiles and human warmth I encountered inside the cold aluminum sheets and wooden planks were humbling. Every family we visited regardless of their frail economic situation made sure we left their home with a full stomach, joyful heart and with an appreciation for family. Meeting these amazing souls and hearing their gut-wrenching stories really put everything into perspective and strengthened our mission.

Half of our design fee is dedicated to sponsoring the educational journeys of these children through the Join Foundation. Our aspiration is simple yet profound: we hope that one day, a child we've sponsored will break free from the clutches of poverty, enroll in trade school or college, and flourish as a contributing member of their community.
